O man well we have been all happy and waiting for our new office today 3 phone lines 800 number and business dsl

well they finally got here today on our apointment date after waiting 2 weeks at 1 oclock

worked outside about 10 minutes then inside about 5 said everything was finished with the phone installs showed us which jacks were which
** we had not moved the boxes with the phones in yet **

and then said the dsl crew should be here anytime and left

well about 45 minutes later the phones got there plugged them in

only 1 of the 3 lines work

and when you call out on caller id it says T manchester. and not grpahic R

Now nobody knows who the hell t manchester is

our 800 number does not work
and neither do our other 2 lines

a call to qwest was made telling us it would be friday before they can come out and fix this.

Totally unacceptable

and worse of all
The dsl crew never showed called or anything.


Man i wish there was a different carrier here
no wonder qwests stocks have fallen from 53.00 to 13.75 in a matter of months

Welcome to Qwest country. There's a very good reason why I'm on cable internet when Qwest's DSL is cheaper.

follow up

Called 6.am at open

business doesnt open until 8
but the customer service said they could find no records that there had been work there or any orders for hte business lines
but yet they were out yesterday so now i wait until 8 am for business to open.

and that the dsl order was on wait why they didnt know why
its nice to know that they schedule installs give you the day and times and then put a hold on the order and dont tell you.

and this saga ends i hope

got threw to business
lady could see no orders or the fix ticked issued last night
transfered me to supervisor supervisor could not find anything
so they transfered me to the lady who initially set us up
i get her voicebox "hello this is ***** i am on vacation from the 17th until the 27th please leave a message and i will retun it when i get back"

call back get a very helpfull guy
who tracked it down in a matter of 5 minutes

they had placed the business order on the split of a residential line which had been marked as uncompleted because the split of the lines in the complex had already been done.

Now the initial lady did not put orders in for the 800 numbers she did a manual ticket but did not send them threw

we also needed a deposit to activate the account which we were not told about so we did that today

now we had a direct mailer set up on the 17th with these 800 nubmers to go out to 75,000 businesses on the 21st
now we ordered the lines and numbers on the 7th were told the 18th from 8am -5pm to be there so he could have access and would be activitated.

i will say the guy i got a hold of today has been great more than helpfull we had to reorder the whole system and we are ending up going with line quewing which i was not initaly aware of and was looking at hardware to do that with but now we dont have to

Just thought i would post this little info about qwest
as i am extremely upset
and from now on with any further involment i am going to call back and double and triple check all orders.

I called Qwest over a week ago requesting pricing on a 800 number, and was told a sales rep would call back within 72 hours. I still haven't gotten a call.

Didn't they just lay a bunch of people off?

lol imagine that why dont you call them directly 1-800-603-6000 ask for shawn wilke in the omaha business office he was really helpfull. the one who fixed it for us well tommorow is our date they are coming back out so we will see

on another note i issued a complaint about this and i recieved and email response of

"we are sorry our customer service representative did not meet YOUR STANDARDS."
and yayadydyayd they will forward the complaint to the rep for her to read for further reference

really upset me they did not even acknowledge that they messed up and made it sound like this was me making myself upset because i set the level of proffesinalism and quality that i wanted

god i wish i could get any other company besides qwest

***Update one month later *****

in state 800 number has worked for 2 weeks
beenw aiting with daily phone calls with all kinds of excuses why the out of state 800 number has not worked they kept passing it off as an att problem well tonight att finally called me and they did a on site line test and there is a problem with qwest so i called qwest with the results and come to find out that the 800 number i have paid for been told for 1 1/2 monthis is mine put into our logos have advertising flyers ready to go.


now tonights call

tracked the problem down

the 800 nubmer u have on file is currently assigned and registered to another company

wtf is going on with this chit i am beyond pissed i am livid

this company has got to go this is the worst service i have ever dealt with,

just a update as if anyone has the option between qwest and other companies do not use qwest
