Does anyone seriously sign up for these types of deals? I'm reluctant to even pay a year in advance for service with well-known companies with established track records. I can't imagine ponying up for a "lifetime" account, much less with a company I've never even heard of.

Oh yeah now it is working. Must've been a little kink in my Internet Connection. BTW most hosts that visit WHT try not to promote their company all the time. Your a newbie so I'll give you the credit that you may not have known. heheh that sounds funny coming from a newbie like me...

Registration to the WebHostingTalk forums is completely free. However, we do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed in the rules section. If you agree to these terms, please press the Agree button at the end of the page.

A host that agrees to things they haven't read? Or just doesn't go by what they read?

Someone should put in a 3rd button for those that actually read the rules and add into the agreement that by pressing agree you now owe matt $10,000.

you have an amazing site - it appears thathostway.com (http://www.hostway.com) copied your design  Perhaps you should work on your honesty before you promote your company.

What a total plonker... doesn't he know he ends up on everyones "Don't go there he's a spammer" list?

Ah well reported for the various other spam posts he's been putting on here tonight...

OUCH, MadSkillage. That one hurts. :)

I think a reseller of NoMonthlyFees, from the plan and the ExitExchange ad... eh well, birds of a feather...

Look at the features section. s/he didn't even know how to use the same text font when they made the change from hostrockets features table. Didn't even bother changing a lot of hostways stuff either.

Lets see - Steal images and design work - Spam board - bring people to web site that has spelling errors and broken links galore - offer gimick hosting - go out of business.

The domain name for this 'best hosting deal' is 'upayonce.com'. But that's not true: you pay more than once. First, you pay $200 for 'lifetime' hosting, then you pay a $90 annual 'maintenance' fee. I didn't check to see whether you lose your $200 investment if you don't pay the maintenance fee.

So what does the 'best hosting deal' on the Internet really cost? $7.50 per month, with a $110 set-up fee.

Why didn't someone think of this before?

So then a user signs up
Moves their web site to their servers
Runs into a problem and clicks on their support link

AND TWO FREAKING BANNER ADS HIT THEM IN THE FACE

How funny

How come this thread hasn't been moved? Deleted would be better. I hate it when I get spam in my mail box, now I have to deal with garbage in these forums? *sigh*
