View Full Version : EV1 Renewal Question

On July 5th I registered a new domain with ev1servers.net. Right after that I renewed one of the other domains in my account. I received a thank you email with information for the domain I registered, but never received an email regarding my renewal. This is the first time I've renewed with them, so I didn't know whether or not to expect an email response.

Checking my credit card, I have authorizations for both transactions - though neither has posted out yet to my account. Logging into my account and checking the domain I renewed, it does not reflect a new expiration date.

Anyone had this happen to them? I'm asking here before contacting them because I've heard (and read on their forums) that their response to such customer inquiries isn't really that good. Any chance at all the expiration date will still change or I am going to have to get them to research it and make the proper adjustment?

try using www.whois.sc/PUTYOURDOMAINHERE.XXX and see if the expiration date is activated or not.

its usually takes upto 24hrs for domains expiration dates to show for some companies, and some are instant :)

Thanks for the reply. I tried that and it still shows the previous expiration date. :(

it seems the domain wasn't renewed then, try contacting their support by opening a ticket or using live chat or even IRC

You shuld have received a notification at your registered address regarding the transfer. You can always contact their live support or domains@ev1servers.net for more info.

They are using opensrs which is a very solid system. ev1servers help should be able to help you

I sent an email this morning when I looked again and it still wasn't updated. Thanks everyone for the input.

Update: I received a reply from EV1. They looked into it, verified I paid for the renewal, and fixed it for me. They say they don't know what went wrong and why it didn't update. But it has been fixed.
