Occasionally my raq will get pretty high cpu usage (9.0+). Usually this can be solved by a simple apache reboot, and the processes go back down to .2-.6 (which is beautiful :)).
Anyway, I know that it would probably be rather simple to setup a crontab to run a script every few minutes to check cpu usage, and if it is above a specified amount, restart apache.
I personally do not know how to do the script, and was wondering if anyone could share there knowledge of how to do this.
I've talked with a couple other people, and I'm not the only one looking for something like this....
So if anyone can help out that would greatly be appreciated.
