Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone of you know guides of "how to" and "what not to" on Windows 2003 server. Basically, what expect after ordering a Windows 2003 dedicated machine. Any links I will appreciated that.

thanks,

The same general practices apply to 2003. Good luck!

Thanks Christopher,

The other question, if I hire an admin for $30/month, what is he going to do? Will I have to do anything on the server? Also the meaning monitored, means by some software and it sends a notice or something to admin? If I get an admin to do all them security things and all for first time, can I handle it after, considering that everything is set up ?

Thanks,

Generally, it's sold in terms of hours. Prives vary, but you'll see them ranging anywhere form $50 an hour to $500 an hour. They're all over the place. rack911.com does 10 hours for $55, for their customers. It all really just depends.

The "real" price is depend how skilled the admin is and sort of work required. It can vary from $10 an hour for a simple work up to $100 an hour or more for difficult takes.

Good luck with finding someone for $30 a month! (maybe a monkey)
