Okay i think this is in the right place......
Okay I have this link page on my site. http://www.friendzforever.net and I want the new sites to popup in a new window so they don't totally leave my site. I am afraid they wont come back if it doesnt go into a new window. I hope ya know what i am talking about. Not sure how to be any clearer. Thanks, confused!

You can add target="_blank" to your HREF to have it open in a new window: http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_link_target

They'll come back if they have a good reason to come back. They'll leave your site regardless of whether you pop open a new window or not if they have no reason to stay. People know how to use the back button, so instead of potentially confusing them, let them use the browser features they've come to understand. I'll bet you they'll be much more likely to come back if you do!

Absolutely! There are times when it is very handy. Just don't do it thinking you'll be more likely to "trap" visitors. Visitors are equally adept at pressing that little red 'X' in the corner as they are at pressing the 'Back" button :)
