Dose anybody know of a control panel for managing Mysql? I am looking for something browser based that will allow my users to control mysql on there own with out telnet. I have seen this option in a lot of control panels but I am using plesk and it don't have that option is there a stand alone control panel just for mysql?

I was told that phpMyAdmin will not work with plesk anybody know if this is true if so is there any other options out there?

I don't think that phpMyAdmin would interfer with Plesk. Since both are totally seperated, I don't see why there would be any problems. You may not be able to include it in Plesk, but simply have to give the url of phpMyAdmin, enable advenced authentication and everything will work fine.

You should also know that plesk installs a old version of PHP not the newest

Gossamer-Threads.com have a MySQL control panel. Its written in Perl instead of PHP. Just as good as PHPMyAdmin.
