This probably is in the wrong forum, but if you are looking for ASP then try asp101.com for simple examples. Or you could try hotscripts.com for ASP, or PHP scripts that do this. Look for a guestbook application, this is probably the simplest example of what you are wanting.

ets say for example we have a database of receipies. i want someone to be able to enter the info and then have it displayed on a website by a id number or even a small search tool.
