I can't decide between two phones:

Nokia 3390
Motorola T193

If you use either, can you please post your review.

Thanks.

when it comes down to it a Nokia is the only phone i would ever go for, they are just so damn good.

the software is the best ive ever seen. standard throughout all nokias, easy to use.

ive only got a Nokia 3210 but its great, the battery lasts, the signal is great, other phones ive had are just useless compared.

Even down to data cables and software they blow everything else off the field.

Congrats to Nokia for making such great phones :-)

I have the Nokia 3360, which is basically the same as a 3390, but for a different provider. I really like it because, as I like to tell people, it's small, but not so small that you could stick it up your butt without knowing (like the 82whatevers). It's also pretty light, which comes in handy for me because I don't always have a purse to put it in.

great thanks.

Yeah, I was thinking of the nokia also. Because I could download and compose my own ringtones.

I can't do that with the motorola.

I'd get whichever one has the latest version of the Up.Browser.

With websites like www.handphones.info and other ringtones' sites, you can change the tones of your choice in a flash :stickout

mahinder, the 9110 does.. it has a serial port connector... simliar to the palm...

the 9110 has an in-built modem.. you just connectr to VSNL or any other ISP... and your online.. :) you will need to pay orange/bpl for enabling the data connection for you though..

nokia is the worst phone i've ever dealt with, if i were you i'd go with nextel, i have excellent service with them and they are always willing to work with you.

I've always had better luck with Nokia's over Motorola's.... I personally use the 3390 (just got the new 3390 Gold from VoiceStream) and I love it. Absolutely no problems. Prior to this, I used a 5185i on Verizon and a 6162i on AT&T, which were great too. I had LOTS of problems with my Motorola StarTac with Verizon and Motorola T2282 with VoiceStream, however.

anyway will 9.6kbps connection be ok for emails and telnet and server management stuff ?.

can anyone using laptop with his cellphone can share his experience please ....
