I'm just about to get on board with Vitalstream. They seem to be one of the only hosts that specialize in media streaming, and that also have a pay-per-view streaming set-up together with some e-commerce stuff.

any opinions on them? check it out if you get the chance and let me know what you think, at:

I just signed up with VitalStream and it seems ok so far, my only complain is they dont give you much drive space. Fror $124.99 you get 400 megs, thats only a few hours of media. I have a few hundred hours. I have a Real Server just not sure how to put it together with ecommerce payperview, so I'm wondering if I could put smil files on vital stream and have the actual media files on my server. Will try that out this week.
I'm also wondering if there are any other companies like vitalstream

I have a friend that uses them. They are *good*. I went there and it's tight. They are local. My friend told me that (he is all into networking) they are setup with 3 major back bone providers so if 1 goes down and the other gets hacked there is the 3rd which this has never happened. No to them not to the internet.

I am not sure who their backbone providers are but they do have OC lines and DS lines.

I was/am thinking of putting a COBALT in their facility for like $150/month but I hate that they give little traffic like ?? gigs and 10$ per extra gigs or something like that is pretty expensive.

I am about to give up on serverrack.net and already did on servershack.net. I tried buying serverrack.net and their store keeps crashing when I am pressing the final button to buy. I am using Amex and I know I have enough dough cuz there is no limit.
