Hello,
I want to register a .co.uk domain name with registersite.com
As I see there is totally $20 fee for 2 years.
Any experience with them?
After registering and paying the $20 fee do I have to pay any more? for pointing the domain to host space?
I had several problems with .de domain name! I want to know if I'm going to have the same problems with .co.uk!
Because the second name server of the .de domain has to be in a different class c with different subnet mask!
Is it the same as .co.uk? or I could use the above name servers for the desired domain?
Regards

I don't know anything about the company you mention, but can tell you that name servers do NOT have to be in a different class C for .uk domains. In fact they don't even have to be authoritative - .uk domains get delegated to whatever you specifiy in your application, there are no checks on your servers.

isn't $20 kinda high compared to other providers?
for .uk its like com/net/org doesn't have to be in different C-class

I can also highly recommend 123-reg.co.uk for .co.uk domain names. I have been using them for years now and not had any issues.

Well, $20 total cost for two years is not that bad. If its a company that you know and trust, then go for it. If its not, or its 20 per year, then forget it :D

Just remember that of the domains listed above, net.uk is a restricted domain type - there is a very good chance you will not qualify for it.
rrpproxy.net offers co.uk, me.uk and org.uk - £4.10 per year
transfer handling (in and out) is automated and free of charge

Cheap domain names (uk or whatever) are not necessarily the cheapest in the long run.
Many people fall for the "cheap looking" prices and they will end up paying many times more than the initial or advertised price when they want to do something useful with their domain.
Always ask about transfer fees and other admin charges when you see cheap pricing.
One more thing. The advetised price is not necessarily the final price in your shopping cart so do proceed with those cheap prices up to the purchase point and you will find very few to be truely cheap.

registersite is pretty good for support and they use the opensrs backend. They are expensive and there are other provider at 1/2 the price or less
