For those of you who advertise on webhostingtalk, what kind of click thru' rates do you acheive? And approximately how many sales from these click thru's?

For those of you who advertise on WHT - how did you do it? When WHT first started to offer advertising I sent numerous messages to Matt and never got a response...

I guess you need to send bribes like Amazon GC's or something to get him to read your mail. :D

Same here. I heard he has strict rules, but not even getting a reply ... I have to assume the emails made it to his box. :)

All the same it would have been nice to get an email back telling me what the rules were, and why or why not our company didn't fit the profile that WHT was looking for...

My guess wouldbe you have to have your logo made, text ready and cc number handy and mail it all off to him if he gets around to it you might see your ad up on wht thats your reply :) if you dontever see it, i guess you can take it that hes no int.

Well how about you everyone who wants to advertise just post there credit card numbers in the lounge and maybe Matt will then take care of it ;)

Its funny because it is an absolutely insane idea. Go ahead try it. Just remember how insecure email is and how many servers it bounces through before it gets to its final destination.

Matt posted this once somewhere. Basic rules like good reputation, been around more then 3 months etc.

I would like to see a chart of prices and logo regulations. Our
company has advertised at webhosters.com and doubleclick
along with others and they all had a standard rules.

Just my thoughts,

Rumor has it that for hosts, it was not worth the money. I have talked to some people who have advertised, but still waiting to hear from Matt.

I know Matt requires hosts to have an excellent reputation to allow them to advertise.

Mods, can you remove the unrelated posts to get the thread back on track? I'd like to see some serious answers here.
