First off , we would like to thank everybody who signed up with us and since we are a fast growing company and are thankful for all your support. We are giving away Free webhosting, a reseller on Plesk2 with unlimited domains + freeVSD server to all our clients and WHT members.

ok, here is the deal, if you are:

:: a virtual webhosting/reseller client: you get Free webhosting of up to 3 domains(virtual clients) and 10 domains( resellers) w/ php and Chilisoft ASP w/ the Chilisoft spicepack.

:: on a Sun Cobalt dedicated: a Free reseller account with Unlimited domains on one of our Plesk 2 machines with your own private nameservers (ns3, ns4) to go with it.

:: on a R.H Plesk2 dedicated: a freeVSD server for Free.

:: not a client but a WHT member, a Free account as well :)

ps: the free offer accounts are on separate machines, so current paying clients, no need to worry about slow servers b/c the offers above are on totally separate machines.

This is going to be our final advert. for the year and will come up with a new special offer sometime next year - Summer 2002.

Thanks and Happy Holidays.

elijah, thanks for the great offer, I'll take a free account. I was wondering what are some details like how much space, transfer, databases, email, domains, etc you will be offering for people who aren't clients yet but are WHT members. You can either pm me or email me, thanks.

I retract the puzzled look as the offer is now quite apparent.

that depends on where you are

ok, forums are now open http://beta.datahosts.net/forums
feel free to post ..

Kraystone: data xfer is capped to a certain amount which should be enough for most small - medium sites. I'm not going to say Unlimited b/c , JIMB is lurking around the boards :p

SWR: thanks for the suggestion, there are other people who requested a forum as well. The site will not be monitored.

strange1: prosayist is correct :)

thanks.

Hi~

I'm not sure how much bandwidth you are capping so I can't really decide what contents can put in. :)

What about email accounts?

DHWWnet
12-20-2001, 06:10 PM
greetings,

Kraystone: bandwidth details will be posted on the forum soon..

Dave114: each account comes w/ 1 pop email and if you are going to use a 3rd party email server, we can modify your mx record for free and can basically, do any special DNS configuration if you have any special needs.

Hi elijah, I'm not sure what your beta tester, complimentary and others mean. Like do they get the same features??

I've changed the signup form to >php hosting, asp hosting and none.

after christmas, I'm going to change it back to beta tester.
Beta tester = will beta test our freeVSD servers, H-A hosting and other products and services that we will be offering to our paying clients.

Complimentary hosting = otherwise known as Free webhosting.

Other = non specific.

So are we supposed to re-signup now that you changed the descriptions? I'm not quite sure what exactly those previously levels were so I just guessed.... nothing about PHP or ASP showed its face.

DHWWnet

there is no need to re-signup. There are two types of users, the free/complimentary accounts and the beta users. Those who want to have a site hosted may choose the free/complimentary option, the beta user option are reserved for our beta testers, i just added them up there , so there is only one signup form, instead of making two :/

I changed the form to >php and >asp. We are going to use a separate form for our beta users to avoid any confusion.
