I am looking into helm and it seems like a very good product for windows and supports the applications I use...

Mail - Merak
Stats - SmarterStats
SQL Server

Is there another one that would be better for my Win2003 server or is HELM a very good product?

I've heard some bad things about Helm from someone who tried it. They told me that the install procedure was quite difficult and the documenation was lacking. I would suggest Plesk 7 for Windows, even if it isn't "stable" yet. :)

I use it - been happy with it. The architecture is a bit complicated at first, but once you pass that - it is all good. I also use SmarterMail / Stats / Ticket. Been extremely happy with their support / help also.

We got everything from Helmtastic.

WHA's forums are great. I never received any 'pre-sales' responses from WHM, but WHA has always helped me out. Everyone there is very suppportive and they listen to their customer's needs / wants.

Sorry for me being stupid but what is WHM and WHA?

Helm is WHA - Webhostautomation. WHM is the Cpanel.

Sorry - flashback from my military days & all those acronyms :)

I've used it, I've since switched to h-sphere. HELM doesn't prefix database names and usernames. So if someone creates a SQL server database named "stuff", no one else can create a database called "stuff". This will cause a lot of problems, believe me. There is also no way to limit SQL server database space, only the number of databases a user can create, which is pretty much useless.

One major problem with H-sphere is since I only have Windows servers I do not see a option for software on a Windows Server

Try using Winpanel. It is a good and one of the most stable control panels available for windows servers.
