Hello Everyone,

This really isnt a request, i just need input on good places, if this is the wrong place to post this, please move this to the correct form.

I am in despert need of a good host to rent to own or rent a few servers to put some clients on them.

In the past 6 months i have had nothing but problems with my current host, downtime almost everyday for hours.....

I need the following:

pefer H-SPHERE as the hosting backend, as i have a few customers that need to use ASP.NET (unless that can run on linux)

700GB month each server
512 or 1GB of Ram
60+ GB HD
AMD or P4 2.4+

Again, i am not looking for a small mom and pop place to do business with as i have had nothing but problems. I do see servers4u.com , they seem like a good deal, but they only offer plesk or ensim....

Any input would be welcome.

Well, with this requirement you are looking at leat at a 2 server install. One being the cp,dns, mail, etc., and the other being your NT box. Along with the license and install fee,,,might not be the best suggstion..$$$

Might want to look into a Helm box if you are looking at one server. This would give you the ability to run your asp, etc.., and save some $$.

Actually the CP(control panel), as well as most of the infastructure is ran on Unix.

You are most deffinately going to need at least 2 boxes if you plan to use ASP.net

You may look at a VPS for the H-sphere control panel to save costs however this is not the recommended solution.

Hsphere runs on FreeBSD but you can run web on Windows. That is the beauty of Hsphere being able to offer both Window and Linux hosting. If you need ASP then you definately are going to need a 2 server configuration unless you are considering Chilisoft. Make sure you get Raid and a decent P4 processor. Dont go cheap or you will pay later.

Hsphere is pretty good. We run in on Linux box and I personally like it more than Cpanel.

You're best with a pair of P4 behind a private VLAN.
