I have moved to a different data center, and wish to sell my Managed.com server.
The next billing date is due on July 12th.
The server has been working great for the last 4 months, no problems, no support requests, no hardware failures, and no OS restores have been made.

IP address is in 65.75.160.xxx

Only 70Gig’s of bandwidth have been used since June 12th. That leaves 930 Gig’s bandwidth for you to utilize until the next billing cycle.
CPANEL installed and up to date!
Looking for $50 OBO to take over the server for the remaining time.
This is a perfect opportunity to have a server at Managed.com for a cheap price, and see how you like them. It’s up to you if you want to continue with the billing, or cancel. Their billing is month to month. The following billing will be $90 a month, plus $20 for CPANEL due on July 12th.

Server specs:
Pentium 4 2.8Ghz
1Gig RAM
120Gig Western Digital hard drive with 8MB cache
1,000 GB data transfer a month
10 IP addresses
OS is Red Hat 9
Datacenter is Managed.com
CPANEL is up to date, APF is installed, e-mail virus scanner (Mailscaner), RootKit scanners, even temperature monitors.
You can request an OS restore, but I am not sure if they charge. And, they only offer Fedora now.
I will provide you with the MRTG link for checking bandwidth.

Of course, there is only 1 server available.

You can e-mail (kingfred at kingfred dot com) if you are interested.

I have seen many people post up their servers for someone else to take over before on here. So I assume it is ok.
All we have to do is tell Managed.com your new e-mail address to accept reboot and support requests from, and to send the PayPal bill to. It should be that easy.

Make sure you get direct confirmation from managed.com that the person you are dealing with actually owns the server BEFORE you send any money.

I replied to one ad on this forum and it turned out to be a fake - see http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=286201

I have given the IP address of the server to "coolraul" and he can check by the IP address that the reverse DNS lookup goes to one of my web sites, that is registered by me, and now goes to a different server.
I don't think Managed.com will give out my personal information especially by e-mail.
This server is directly purchased from Managed.com not a reseller.

All correct and legit. This person definetly owns the server but thanks for the heads up mil22.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone to try out the Managed.com network before they purchase a full dedicated server housed in their data center.

I am willing to give you a reseller hosting account on the server for like $30 and you can use it all you want until the contract is up. Then you can choose to tell Managed.com you want to take over the server after July 12th.
Also keep in mind that you can’t order another one from Managed.com because they are all sold out of the $90 servers.
