Neither pop is bad for you, drink water :) or for me energy drinks, gotta love 2.00 a can and their tiny but they do the trick.

I read an article on fortune this weekend. Pepsi is killing Coke. Of course I love Coke, and here is something I learned a year ago.

You know those Pepsi challenge BS commercials. Where they do the taste test and how everyone always chooses Pepsi. Well here is their secret. Pepsi has more sugar in it. So when given a small cup of Pepsi and a small cup of Coke, people natually choose the sweeter one, which is Pepsi. If they did a taste test of a full can or those big 20 oz of coke and pepsi, Coke would win, because after that much, pepsi becomes a little too sweet. Just some food, or drink, for thought.

Neither! I gluped down about a case of 12 every week on average. however, that was about 3-4 years ago. Now i just can't stand the stuff. It's just like drinking sugar water. Yes ...that's basically it. I find it way too sweet now! Not to mention the major headache i get from drinking just 1 can now.

Water is the drink of today ;)

I take the "Pepsi Challenge" at every opportunity - State Fairs, Marketing Conferences, etc - and I always choose Coke.

Pepsi is flavored so it appeals to little kids.

Coke is for mature cola drinkers :).

Either, depending upon the local water source used during the bottling process. When I was in Vancouver I hated the taste of Pepsi, but now that I'm in the UK -- with water which tastes much different -- I find that I can stand it (although I still prefer Coke).

I can't stand the taste of the water here in Oxford though; far overmineralized for me.

Actually thewitt is exactly right, back when I was 5 or 6 I went from coke to pepsi, now I think it just doesn't taste nearly as good as coke. I can't stand the aftertaste of either though, makes me sick (I usually have something else to drink after a can/bottle of coke)

Oddly, I used to always drink diet coke as well, now I can't stand that either :eek:

I drink both. Don't combine'em though. Don't know why but it didn't settle too well with my stomach. :|

Pepsi, Pepsi, Pepsi! Coke is crap! "Regular" Coke tastes like diet stuff, and that's just WRONG. Anyone who prefers Coke is a fool. Fool I say. Real cola drinkers prefer Pepsi. Everything about it is better, from the packaging to the bubbleage. Pepsi! Woohoo!

anyone here even drink 7up? heh, I havent touched that in years.

I have not touched 7up in years, but I think it tastes better than Sprite.

The only time I get near 7up is for 7up bread. I don't usually drink any citrus type drinks other than mountain dew/code red.

i think they both taste the same, i dont drink em much anymore only if i really feel like a coke/pepsi.

ill agree with the majority, water is the drink of today everyone is on chilled water these days.

although i do like anything alcoholic of an evening
