Ran 06-30-2004, 06:42 PM http://www.phpcoin.com/ artvision 06-30-2004, 07:32 PM In the past I heard about it: whmManager (http://nixt.org/faq.html#q1) , but I never used. :) Hostserfer 06-30-2004, 07:49 PM Tell me, Is there a free tool such as PHPCoin which functions around PayPal? Laci 07-01-2004, 12:26 AM http://www.teatoast.com/PmWiki I dont know how good it is , Ive just seen it around. londongossip 07-01-2004, 02:33 AM I would say PHPcoin aswell - if youi have fantastico, it should be on there already. If you want a paypal one, go to pay pal and login - there there is a free cart in 'merchant tools' tanfwc 07-01-2004, 03:08 AM Originally posted by HstCreations http://www.phpcoin.com/ this software is not very user-friendly... DSLWeb 07-01-2004, 03:15 AM who.is Cart is not free but is very affordable and works with paypal Regards Lee nybble 07-01-2004, 04:36 AM Free + Billing don't really work... I mean, here you want someone to work for free yet you want to make money off it. I hate to say this, but take what you can get. Don't be fussy cause you have no choice. Another option, is learn php and make your own :) php & MySQL are both free (for the most part) and they are the backend behind most of the billing scripts out there. Don't be cheap where it counts - it shows. tanfwc 07-01-2004, 05:30 AM does WhoIs Cart has client side login? nybble 07-01-2004, 05:34 AM I don't think it does. But I think theres a demo on their site you can play with. artvision 07-01-2004, 05:35 AM Originally posted by tanfwc does WhoIs Cart has client side login? Yes, it does. nybble 07-01-2004, 05:37 AM Shows how much I know. I was thinking about WHMAP. Oskare100 07-01-2004, 08:59 AM My recomendation is: Do your own payment HTML site and link it to paypal because the security is mutch higher there. nybble 07-01-2004, 09:14 AM My recomendation is: Do your own payment HTML site and link it to paypal because the security is mutch higher there. I understand about 1/10 of that. NE-Adam 07-01-2004, 05:41 PM Damn your smart nybble, I hardly understood any of it. ;) nybble 07-01-2004, 07:03 PM I'll just hope English is not his first Language. But really now :) back to the topic.... what are your customers going to think when they are paying you and here you are trying to find free scripts to use with them? If I was your customer I would leave. Accept in the case of GOOD GNU freeware (This does not include phpcoin). NE-Adam 07-02-2004, 11:33 AM Yeah, if you want to be as sucessful as possible I recommend you go out and spend some money on a decent billing system. Free scripts are genrally buggy and not as secure as scripts like Modernbill and ClietExec. I mean there paying you for something and it cirtainly isn't so you can make large piles of cash and roll in it for hours. Although I bet it would be fun. :D middleground 07-06-2004, 06:00 AM If it does want you want, and happens to be free, go for it. Some of the "free" packages look 200% percent better than the crappy html pages that get put up.. And IMHO- half the clients have now idea what the heck you're using. If it works solid and meets their needs, I don't think most care where you got (or wrote it yourself)... webhost933 07-06-2004, 11:45 AM phpcoin is good for being free but if you decide to pay for a billing program go with something else. paulddaw 07-24-2004, 03:46 AM what is the link to WhoIs Cart tanfwc 07-24-2004, 03:53 AM Originally posted by paulddaw what is the link to WhoIs Cart http://whoiscart.net/ infernus 07-25-2004, 06:15 AM how much is WHMAP? and also... anyone use that whmManager stuff? their site looks pretty shite... Mailaform 07-30-2004, 08:29 PM ClietExec is very good, we use that not only with our Web Hosting customers, but for other billing needs as well, very good software and only $99, also modern bill is very good, I used to use that, and if your new to webhosting, try phpmanager.com, that will get you started as a new host. |
