I would say PHPcoin aswell - if youi have fantastico, it should be on there already. If you want a paypal one, go to pay pal and login - there there is a free cart in 'merchant tools'

Free + Billing don't really work... I mean, here you want someone to work for free yet you want to make money off it.

I hate to say this, but take what you can get. Don't be fussy cause you have no choice.

Another option, is learn php and make your own :) php & MySQL are both free (for the most part) and they are the backend behind most of the billing scripts out there.

Don't be cheap where it counts - it shows.

My recomendation is: Do your own payment HTML site and link it to paypal because the security is mutch higher there.

I understand about 1/10 of that.

I'll just hope English is not his first Language.

But really now :) back to the topic.... what are your customers going to think when they are paying you and here you are trying to find free scripts to use with them?

If I was your customer I would leave.
Accept in the case of GOOD GNU freeware (This does not include phpcoin).

Yeah, if you want to be as sucessful as possible I recommend you go out and spend some money on a decent billing system. Free scripts are genrally buggy and not as secure as scripts like Modernbill and ClietExec.

I mean there paying you for something and it cirtainly isn't so you can make large piles of cash and roll in it for hours. Although I bet it would be fun. :D

If it does want you want, and happens to be free, go for it. Some of the "free" packages look 200% percent better than the crappy html pages that get put up..

And IMHO- half the clients have now idea what the heck you're using. If it works solid and meets their needs, I don't think most care where you got (or wrote it yourself)...

phpcoin is good for being free but if you decide to pay for a billing program go with something else.

ClietExec is very good, we use that not only with our Web Hosting customers, but for other billing needs as well, very good software and only $99, also modern bill is very good, I used to use that, and if your new to webhosting, try phpmanager.com, that will get you started as a new host.
