What datacenter do you use for these servers?

HiVelocity

Hivelocity owns and maintains its own data center in Tampa, FL. You can view pics of our data center from our home page.

Nice offer, especially Celeron one,

But your ping and download test times are too slow, i think that too many boxes share same connection. Do you have any plan to upgrade bandwidth of your connection?

PS: I've been testing your speed since 5 days ago (with your ip 66.96.82.85 and http://www.hivelocity.net/10meg.file).

Thanks.

Is the Direct Admin has the option to move account from server to server?

Agreed, I'm only getting around 200 KB/sec from the planet. It is a great deal though but I think that you need some more bandwidth capacity. Is there any future plans for this?

Well i got a constant of 600kb/s from ServInt on that testfile! And that's not that slow at all!

So, with this offer, cpanel is till 49usd as your site presents?

HiVelocity

Correct, Cpanel would be a $49 per month upgrade.

I think there is no plan to upgrade their capacity. No answer about that. I can only get 20 - 30 kbps from Turkey, but some others (dedicated providers) can get 100 - 120 kpbs.

PS: Turkish network connections is too (terribly) slow. But you can see there is 1/4 difference. We can never see 600kbps during our life :)

Hey Rainetech and Imrahil. I am very confident in our network. We have plenty of bandwidth capacity available. I will give you guys 50% off this promotional pricing your first month to prove ourselves to you. PM me and we can get you going today. This HAS to be the best deal around guys. What do you have to lose?

This is not a deal I will be offering to anyone else. We have to make profit somewhere.

Hey, i didn't want to run down you and your services. I only wanted to know your plans about future and i shared my statistics to you and everybody. I've contacted you (Mr. Steven) before about your previous special sale (it was same) (i don't know if you are Mr. Steven). Than i started to test your ping times and download speed. I'm very interested in your services. But worrying about my customers back me with speed problems.

I'm sorry if you get me wrong or if i had a mistake.

We do have plans to upgrade our bandwidth in the near future. However, what we have right now should be giving you good results. Our eventual upgrade is not something that is necessary due to congestion is the point I am trying to make.

Paul,

some may consider that trolling but for those of you who are interested in purchasing services you should thank Paul for letting you know now rather than you finding out later once all your email is blocked.

Hivelocity has in the past had problems with spam , we now maintain a strict AUP located at http://www.hivelocity.net/company/aup.asp this policy also includes a $500 clean up fee for violators. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all servers , so you are not risking anything by trying our service. Everyone makes mistakes and HiVelocity is no exception , SPAM is not tolerated on our network , and we make every new client sign a document stating they agree to the above mentioned terms.

I don't really want to beat a dead horse here however we do have over 25,000 sites 500 servers and nearly 2000 resellers I do not think we could do that if all our email was being blocked.

HiVelocity

One last point I would like to make. With the amount of servers we have in our datacenter, we obviously host a ton of email accounts, roughly 500,000 email accounts. It is inevitable that we sign up a bad apple on occasion. All we can do is suspend them when we discover an issue. I sure many many other hosting companies are familiar with this problem. Once we are alerted of an unsolicited email generating from our network, we promptly suspend the offending account and contact the powers that be to get us removed from any RBL. Any peice of spam that has generated from our network in well over the last year has come from one of these bad apple customers, not from Hivelocity. We do hosting, not mortgages, not porn, not pyramids schemes. If you look at the complaints you will see they are due to customers of ours that are now ex-customers. As I have said before, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee. We would love the opportunity to prove our value and service.

Hey John.  That was a deal we offered to 2 guys towards the end of the month.  We would be losing money if we gave it to anyone that asked.  I am sorry but I dont think I can do it again.  I will PM you if that is something I can work out.  As we stated before though, we have a 30 day money back guarantee.  You are not risking anything.

FYI, my friend tested to ping from Istanbul, Turkey
he got 200ms ping
because he routed from Seabone.net link, I did from telia.net which seems have a bad connection with cogent.
