Hi

(repost on suggestion to put it in this forum)

3 questions that I was wondering if anyone could help me with.

First question is on nameservers. I simply can not understand them! I understand to set up my own I need 2 IP addresses, but then I just dont understand the rest.

I currently have a server running win2k3, it has dns server. I understand fully what the records mean, but have no idea about the advanced options under it.

At the moment my websites are using a online based dns server. I have the option to foward the nameservers, but it only allows http://name in to the field and not a ip address, so my question is where do you define the ip address of the nameserver? e.g. if I run 100 sites, in 99 I can write NS1.domain100.com in the box, but on the 100th one, what do i write? I just can not understand this!

Anyway, second question. Searches. I run a website, it works, but I think it would be better with a search feature. I really dont know where to start. I have seen good searches like on microsoft where it gets a %based on relevance, and loads of other nifty features. I was just wondering if anyone can recomend any good search applications.

And last bandwidth. I was wondering if there are any good bandwidth monitors for iis that can monitor all bandwidth going out that is served through iis.

Thats all for now.

Thanks
