I recently bought a new domain and would like to open up a new shop with it, I also have a completely different url that we've had for a while now and needs a makeover, so very likely I will be picking 2 winners. I have seen other designs and if you want, please post them here

What you will get:

- 12x months hosting account (longer if really looks nice) under the Professional Plan @ www-hosting.net
- Primary company we would forward customer design requests (IE: our customers come to us, we will forward them to you if they want a quote on a design etc..)

What we want:

- Totally unique website that makes both websites look very professional yet alive.
- Completely new logos etc as these will represent our companies etc...
- Updates down the road (IE: sometimes package prices change, and we would need some quick updates done to reflect such if they are in a gif/jpg etc)
- All we need is the primary page, as we will work off that to create all the existing other pages.
- I prefer "full sized" websites where the site stretches with whatever screen size the user has instead of allot of dead space there on the right side. Lowest resolution being 800 x 600

I do.

Another thing that is bothering me as I'm doing that layout is the feedback I got was to change the whole design, PMs later and I'm still not getting basic layout info (there's more than just "Menu 1, 2, 3, etc." to go on a nav bar <-- which sounds more like a general template for resale than for a site). So basically I can't do anything but dabble on the head banner. It's wasting time.

Don't know, maybe it's all the "lol," but I get the feeling that Tim's not serious about his competition. I could be wrong (as internet communications are rife with misunderstandings), but how that competition is being handled and how Splash Host's was carried out is totally different. It doesn't "feel" right.

Something is amiss, and I needed to state this in the open.

If anything AlaskanWolf should get an apology for having a link to another competition on his thread.

I think part of the reason Tim's competition doesn't "feel right" is because it's getting cross-posted everywhere. Kind of makes it feel a bit desperate, and more than a bit unprofessional.

Just my two cents on the whole thing.... sorry AlaskanWolf, I'm done now. :)

I like the "Your Business. Our Experience" and all but one problem it's hostway.com's or use to be i know they have a copy right on that little saying..

We had "Your Business. Our Some thing" did not know about them using some thing close and they sent lettes and about got one of our providers to shut us down.. This was over a year ago so i don't know but i know that is the 100% same saying "Your Business. Our Experience" from hostway.com..

It use to say it at the top where then know have "THE Hosting Company"

I never knew that.....well the design you see @ softicom.net , is the orginal that softicom had when we took them over, thats why we sent out a notice for a new design, i think we are going to stick to WHN's slogan of

"Providing 110% Customer Satisfaction since 1996" :)

may be a good idea.. Just don't want to get in any problems.. :) I had to deal with Hostway was not fun..
