Ok.. now I am adding the final touches to it. Doing a feature run through and stuff. And I came accross one I hadnt implemented and got me thinking. So here is the problem ->

Should the user or the tech be allowed to edit the question or the answere?

I am confused, I say yes and no. No because, that could coz havoc and Yes because, spelling mistakes and stuff can be corrected.

What do you guys have to say about it?

I suggest that the tech can edit it, but once the customer puts in a ticket, then they should just open a new one... That's how my company and WebExpose do it anyway.

Or.... The better option is to leave it open : either the tech or the customer can edit it. Or the company can choose whether to enable 'customer editing' or not.

I would suggest that one should not be able to change the contents. This gives a very clear idea about what is happening to the managers..

bobcares: it's nice that you care so much, but you are creating a mess here at the forums... A funny mess, but a mess still.

The software that this thread was about is probably way past that problem. IMHO please focus on the questions that need answering...

If you look at the left bottom side of each message, as I'm sure you have noticed, there is a date. You could also set your preferences so that the forum won't show you the threads older than, let's say, 30 days... So that you don't get into temptations :D
