Greetings:

You should talk with your business insurance agent to see what plans and policies they have for the situations you see yourself in.

Thank you.

I noticed that our bank offers Business/Risk insurance policies. You might be able to get a better rate if you've been with your bank for a while.

To tell you the truth, though - I don't think that a lot of hosting companies carry insurance for the kind of issues you listed in your post.

The main reason I’m thinking of it if some one does put that content on my server I’m the one liable...

I can then pass on the fees to my customer according to my AUP and TOS.

Do any of the other hosts on this bard have any insurance?
What do they do if they have a problem like that?

Nothing has happened yet but I know the more people I put on my server and the more servers I get, its going to happen sooner or latter.

Greetings:

Our parent company -- Dynamic Net, Inc. -- has various insurance policies concerning its primary operation, hosting.

I would suggest you contact your business insurance agent.

Thank you.
