Hello i know what a name server is and does but here is what i am wondering
I have about 46 domains
5 of which are currently up and running 12 have forwarding from the register (which i hate paying for)

Can i get my own name server for a monthly fee,
If so how much and where and can you run 1 machine with like say 30 name servers on it

If the price on a name server is reasonable this is something i want to do

and i know you have to register it with opensrs does this cost anything also ?

the RAQ's can be setup as name servers ... why don't you take a look at rackshack.net? although, you'd be wasting the machine if you were just using it to provide DNS for ~ 30 domains. :)

hehe ya if i get a server from rackshack i might as well start a hosting company :D

Basically i didnt know if you could run more than one name server on a server and i could just lease one or something.
