I had a new client signup the other day and he sent a ticket about his domain not working.

I told him to wait 24 - 72 hours for it to resolve to our servers.

After it resolved I checked it out and it still wasn't working.

I have checked for DNS zones, and I have a dns zone for his domain, yet it is still not working.

He has our nameservers correctly entered for his domain, I just can't figure out the problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

By the way,

I have just tried the temporary URL of
http://myIP/~username

and that isn't working either, although all the other accounts are working fine.

Make sure you put the trailing slash on that username. If that still doesn't work then i guess there's a problem in your httpd.conf file for his VirtualHost entry. Either edit it yourself or just backup the account, terminate the account, recreate it and restore the files.

If the /~username/ thing now works then i suggest using dnsreport.com to find the source of the problem.

Hope this helps!
