Working on getting my hosting company up and running, but just want some feedback on my hosting plans:
Storage Space 10 MB 100 MB 250 MB 500 MB 1000 MB
Bandwidth 300 MB 3000 MB 7500 MB 15000 MB 30000 MB
E-mail Accounts 10 25 50 Unlimited Unlimited
Databases 2 10 25 Unlimited Unlimited
Monthly Price (in USD)$0.99 $4.99 $8.99 $12.99 $19.99
Hope that's comprehensible... Anyway...
Are those relatively decent plans and prices? Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Would you be able to successfully support your customers at that price level and still make a tidy profit to ensure an ongoing business and for growth ?
99cents does seems a little low since many noobs would probably go for that price level but they would be the one coming to you day after day asking for support.

How do u plan to collect payments? Unless you take checks in the mail, you won't make any money on your monthly $0.99 plans (minus transaction fees).
$5/month should be the minimum, IMO.

Ok, so the 99 cent one was a bad idea :P
Any thoughts on the rest of the plans? Currently I have paypal lined up for payment, with expansion to other electronic payment forms once I get some business

Hard to say, what else do you provide for the plans in terms of configuration of the plans, support level and so on.
The thing is that your biggest bulk of customers would probably be on your lower plan since that is the way to guage your performance level and by doing so may lopside your margins.
If I were you, I would reduce the number of plans and just start from plan 3 onwards ($8.99) so at least if most falls in that category, you will have a better profit margin then the 99cents.
Would you be comfortable supporting someone for that price level ? Supposing that you get about 1 ticket a day your customers.
