I've seen this on some forums, was wondering why we don't do it here, having people's location under their postcount or something on the left. Would be great if I could see where everyone was from, and maybe I'll see someone who's from Atlanta (like me), and etc.

Just an idea, and an easy one to do.

A lot of things are on hold until after upgrading to vB3.

There's a handy dandy profile button at the bottom of all the posts :)

I, personally, don't like it.

Nor do I, especially for mod/admin stuff :(

so then stay with 2 and add the location! And Jan: I know, that's just a hassle. I'd rather read it when I see all the posts.

I thought this, when i played with a vb3 RC version i didn't like it either, and thought, among other things that it was alot more bloated (if that's the right term) than vb2.x but after using it on a live forum for a few weeks, it grows on you, and it is an improvement on vb2 :)

I use it on other forums. I still don't like it. But, mostly for the reason anon-e-mouse doesn't.

Well i don't see any urgent need to have it here anyway, i can't think of anything that would be any great benefit, though i can almost imagine a circle of community leaders outside iNET's office holding large hand written boards saying "save vb2" :D

Actually I'm borrowing a bus from the bus lot and going to pick up all the leaders, guides and liasons in North America and head for iNET! The mods overseas catch the earliest flights possible! :D Who want's to volunteer for making the signs?
