I've been waiting for one to expire, via snapnames. It actually ran out in August and it's still not available.

Any ideas? Surely this cannot be legal??

You can try pestering their livesupport and see if you can get'em to drop it. Otherwise you just get to wait. This topics been discussed a gazillion times and will be discussed a gazillion more. NSI sucked, still sucks, and will continue to suck for all eternity.

Also, don't know if they still have it or not, but see if you can find the domain auction site of theirs and check if it's available there. I wouldn't be surprised if they're just keeping it on with them to auction it off.

My last domain that expired through them lasted 6 months in the database. If you've got snapnames on it, you shouldn't have a problem getting it.
