I need to setup Outlook Express to receive emails before it is sending, as my mail server is set up that way (to avoid being a spam target). Anyone knows how to set it up so it does that ? Or do you - alternatively - know which email program that can do that ???

Thanks in advance.

Not what you are looking for, but I'm just used to doing this...

After you type the email, but *before* you click SEND, go back to the main email window and click on the small arrow (almost part of), to the side of the SEND/RECV icon at the top. Choose the account you are about to send from and after it checks it, then go back to the email and click send.

I know, you want something that does this automatically, eh?

Usually POP-before-SMTP allows an IP for a limited time. Just set your email program to automatically POP before that time limit expires (POP every 55 minutes if the limit is 60 minutes). That way, you always have SMTP access. That's what I do anyway. :)
