I see what you mean now - saw some other posts from this guy, and I didn't think Verio would directly employ anyone with as poor English... Gurudev 12-13-2001, 05:32 PM I never expected anyone from Verio to visit this board...... And why not? No one is one "cloud 9" anymore. Good old days of high flying stocks and scumbag VC fundings are gone - now they really have to market and generate some real revenues. mhayward 12-14-2001, 10:59 AM Yes I am with NTT/Verio and am just seeing if this could be a place to find additional leads. And yes I left the "s" off of Webmasters sorry about that. I would like to know why you are suprised to see a NTT/Verio post on this forum. But they do all the real dirty work (securing the server, backups, etc) so it's not necessarily a bad deal, especially if you're not tech-savvy enough to, say, write your own ipchains firewall rules or other such admin things. More people should probably use this option than the rackshack. Not that I mind getting paid to help out those fellas who oughta have a managed rather than dedicated system. |
