SoftWareRevue 12-13-2001, 12:00 PM This was just done two months ago. ;) http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23060 But then . . . . . Some people are older today (happy birthday to me :( ). And there are new members. :D cmoats 12-13-2001, 01:08 PM I like this poll. bitserve 12-13-2001, 01:57 PM I entered my age in mortal years, is that okay? :dgrin: ASPCode.net 12-13-2001, 02:37 PM Made me realize that next year I'm turning 30. Can't believe it. Feels like I'm still 14. Well, maybe not, at 14 I didn't like beer and I do now, so let's say 20 instead... hostgold 12-13-2001, 03:35 PM thanks everyone for taking part in this poll, I was just beginning to think everyone in here was still wet behind the ole floppy. I would really like to know who the >12 person was, How can you possibly run a company if you are still wearing diapers. Rewdog 12-13-2001, 03:44 PM not everyone on these forums own hosting companies lol. You should of asked "How old are you web hosting business owners?" jeremiah23 12-13-2001, 04:18 PM 7 CRego3D 12-13-2001, 04:24 PM pff, I am almost 30 myself, just yesterday I had a teleconference with a good high school friend of mine, we hadn't "seen" each other in over 6 years, but keep regular email contact .. he was very bold and old looking :D .. it made me feel like crap, and take a good look in the mirror :( Noldar 12-13-2001, 04:35 PM I feel sooo old. Couldn't you have have added a few extra age brackets so I wouldn't have to be in the oldest one  What really makes me feel bad is that all these young 'uns are so much smarter than I am :dunce: Gotenks 12-13-2001, 07:45 PM i am 12 also and i dont own a web hosting company but am staff for quite a few of them as web designer :) ProSam 12-14-2001, 06:00 AM 24 year old designer, over here. Damn, this kid is half my age and is designing web pages. MarcD 12-14-2001, 07:56 AM <-- 24 dont own a hosting company, dont know anything about the internet i just come here because i am anti social and do not like to go out. :stickout Seer 12-14-2001, 08:20 AM Quite the mixed results on the poll. It'd be interesting to see who runs their own hosting or design business. akashik 12-14-2001, 08:37 AM 28 At least I didn't have to check the final option like 7 other creaky old fossils :D The only time I really feel my age is when I see a wrestling ad (oddly enough). Apparently 'The Rock' is the same age as I am. He looks like an adult so I suppose I have to be as well (granted we certainly don't share the same physical attributes, that's for sure) Greg Moore dawolf 12-14-2001, 12:48 PM Gonna get sent out to pasture soon! RAy Seer 12-14-2001, 01:46 PM This poll certainly makes anyone over 30 look old, but i'm guessing there's gotta be a few senior citizens (or close to it) roaming around here! :D Fortunately, i'm 21 so i've got a while before the pasture starts calling - of course, the gray hair's already started sneaking up on me. :uhh: Skeptical 12-14-2001, 02:19 PM Originally posted by dawolf Gonna get sent out to pasture soon! No, i don't own my own hosting company, but am employed by one. Ah ...almost hitting that big 30...holly mother of god! Guess i am basically the "senior citizen" around here huh? well..doesn't matter lads...lol :stickout thewitt 12-14-2001, 03:59 PM Originally posted by pcsteve [clip]Ah ...almost hitting that big 30...holly mother of god! I remember the birth of the computer that didn't require a datacenter with a raised floor and an army of engineers to keep it running. I bought my first personal computer at a computer club meeting. It ran CP/M and was kit-built by the resident geek. He could crank them out at a rate of about one a month - full time. I bought my second computer from Steve Jobs' mother... It had a hand soldered circuit board. Yes, sometimes I feel old... -t pcsteve 12-14-2001, 04:58 PM Originally posted by thewitt I have socks older than you.. Really? Damm! You mean moldy socks right?
