Does anybody here use SLN as their host - or is anybody from SLN around to say what's happening? Downtime is now at 3 hours and counting. Thanks.

Well it's almost 6 hours now. That's one 30 day money back guarantee that will be taken up when they manage to get themselves back online. :mad:
This is not meant to be a rant but why do so many hosts find it completely impossible to deliver even the simple things?
This is one business that's in serious need of a revamp and some form of international approval standards. If you don't have the financial resources, or technical resources, etc etc then you should be barred from offering hosting - period !

When tracet doesnt respond that means the network has gone down. Not just the server(s).

Hi again. The data center is Level 3 Inc at www.level3.com That site is up so I don't understand it.

Edit: The 64.156.2.66 IP block is owned by Level 3 so I assume they are the data center but I am sure that using visualroute before located the center in New Jersey - not Colorado?

Level 3 probably has a few datacenter not just one :)
So its unlikely their site would go down. I could be wrong but thats just my opinion. I suggest you wait a few more hours or a day max (wait for them to come back online). Then demand an explanation + your money back.

I called them up, got an answering machine in just 1 ring, sounds like its a one man operation :( .
I'll try again in a few hours.
15 hours and 45 minutes later, someone bothered to wake up and do something about the problem. :mad:
