Hello,
I would like to disable FTP to call clients, how do I knock it offline.
I have root access to WHM, plus SSH.
Kind Regards,
James Parmee Morris
Depends on what ftp server you are using, but you'd be best to disable it directly from the "Service Manager" in WHM, under the "Server Setup" heading. Also block off the ports with your firewall.

Hi,
I have done this in WHM, however it keeps on restarting...
ftpd failed @ Tue Jun 22 23:14:38 2004. A restart was attempted automagicly.
Any Idea's?

Go back to service manager, and check that there aren't 2 options for FTP. Else, you will need to remove it manually from chkservd.
Edit: You may also try running /scripts/updatenow;/scripts/upcp from SSH as root as this may modify the chkservd config for you.. *MAY*.
