Does anybody know of host besides OLM that provides anonymous or private label tech support to their resellers clients? I would prefer an NT/Win2k host, but am open to anything at this point. I really wish maximum asp offered a reseller plan (with end user support)- that would pretty much be reseller nirvana in my book.

Thanks in advance!

What do you have against OLM? :) Other than them, I can't think of anything.

Nothing at all actually. Currently though they do not offer shared Win2k plans which I need to be able to offer.

I was just looking at revenue host but a quick tracert show that they are on OLM's network, yet they offer Win hosting.

how does OLM stack up against other resellers like MChost or Venturesonline?

Thanks

I know I always post this *but* I feel it is one of the better resources for people considering (or who are clients of OLM/Webaxxs)...

First, I am not getting into the business. I have been in the business for sometime. Residual income is a wonderful thing.

As to why I don't want to offer support directly--because it is the single largest drain on time and revenues, and thus profits, in this business.

It is, in it's most basic form, outsourcing. It is only different from having your own support staff in that you don't have direct control over the resources. On the upside you can pick up a larger staff, with access to more resources, training, and a much larger knowledge base than I have access to on my own.

Speaking of outsourced support, there are companies that do this as well. Maybe it would open up some more choices (other hosts you can consider).

Good to see the concept off outsourcing is starting to catch on.

OLM was pretty good to for awhile. I started having trouble with the Enism and my email. I called David up and he willing helped me and looked into it. I moved from them because I hated the Enism Web Based Control Panel and I was always having trouble.

Is there any web sites that purely outsource technical support to web hosting companies and are not hosting companies themselves?

IS OLM the best Reseller that offers outsourcing of tech support?

My suggestion is to outsource it as well. I have no dealings with these guys, but they seem resonable, take a look at http://www.bobcares.com
