Hi there, im new to pixie - just 1 month in. I had a great experience signing up, and read all your good reviews about them. However, i noticed since they changed their web design, there are a lot of flaws. First of all, i tried to sign up for SSL certificate ($30) and it wouldnt let me. So I opened a ticket and waited for 2 weeks but no answer. I opend another one yesterday, still no answer. I called their toll free number on the top of their page and it was a HOSPITAL!??! So i dug up their contact page and realized the number on all their headers are WRONG! If you go to pixiehost.com it will say right on top in big fat bold numbers: 1800-877-8907. But if you go to the "real" contact page, pixiehost.com/about.php?c=contact it will say 1-877-879-8907 . Anyway, I called the "real" number during normal business hours - 9AM PST and no answer..not even a voicemail.. ive been waiting 2 weeks to get a freakin SSL certificate on my site there.. GRRR! GRRRR!!! Any suggestions or solutions? Or places where i can find a comparatively affordable SSL certificate? The only problem is.. if i buy it from somewhere else, i will still need admin interaction from pixiehost to install it, right? and it seems like pixiehost staff are all on vacation now...

Hi,
I apologize for that, the phone number listed on the top of our page is a typo and we do have problem with that phone number at the moment. Somehow it doesn't get routed properly and we are getting a new phone number pretty soon. Our support is always availalbe online through ticket but they're only answer tech support tickets.
I can help you with your SSL tonight and get you your SSL installed tonight. PM me your company information that needed for SSL and I'll get you setup right away.
Again I apologize ..

Hi guys, I'm glad to say pixie/roy fixed my problem in an hour. Great! Next time, just email sales@pixiehost.com for faster service. :D

FYI do not post your ticket key.
This would allow me or anyone to go to Pixie's support site, enter your ticket number and key and then view and edit your tickets.
That is your security and just as important as your password.
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE DISCUSSING SSL.
Perhaps have a mod edit their post and remove ticket information.
As I suspected when I saw the title - Roy is straight in here to sort the problem!
There's absolutely nothing wrong with Pixie during the time I was with them!
Regards,
Keiron
