Hello. I have a store front using Miva Merchant 3.x on a shared hosting account. I've had it there for a few years, and am actually not even on an account that includes it as part of the plan, but they never took away the license for me to use it. But, reading on Miva's website and just want to make sure, I cannot transfer this license to another domain or try and sell it, correct? I'm looking to shut down my account with my shared hosting provider and just use my own machines, and will just let the Miva license die unless I can get some money for it.

So let me understand this; you want to know if it's okay to sell a script you haven't any right to even be using?

No, the way I understood it, I had paid for the right to use the script, but I believe it is only on their servers. I'm just going to let the account die. Don't think I have any rights outside of the server.
