arg... i'm been hosting by phpwehhosting for a year and half now. their tech support has NEVER been fast. i didn't mind it much since i fix most of the stuff on my own until recently the server they put me on started to give me mysql error. mysql server restarts itself FREQUENTLY during the day. causing my php board to go down at least four or five times a day. the longest one lasted about three hours. i requested them to move me to a different server coz my friend who's hosted on a different server never had such problem. they first said they can fix the problem, then they didn't and they agreed to move me and even said to refund me for this month. i was touched. except they didn't keep the promise. they said they would move me last weekend, hasn't seen anything happening yet.
i just don't understand what's so difficult to carry out their promise. this time it's causing my entire domain slow down when the mysql error occurs. my blog is php&mysql driven too.. so when it goes down, i can't blog. when mysql goes down, i can't log in my cp. all kinds of stuff follows. that just really irritates me.

you ask me, why don't i move to a different hosting company? the truth is i'm poor and for some reason my site is extremely demanding on bandwidth (it's focused mainly on a board and a tutorial site, not much mp3, downloading and that kind of stuff) which really limits my possibility of moving. coz most companies really don't offer as much stuff as phpwebhosting.com for the same price i'm paying right now. and i had no big problem with them until this very last month.
btw, (http://regretless.com/priv_stats/) if you are interested, i'm currently using over 200mb space and over 10gb bandwidth, 4 mysql databaes (about 30mb space) and i haven't seen a decent host can offer $9.95/month for it yet. well, i suppose there are, except they are most resellers ><

i know i heard many negative comments about phpwebhosting on this forum. i'm usu. the one who tries to give them more decent comments. but right now i'm just out of ideas. sigh... hope you guys are not gonna be too harsh on me.

Exactly.

You won't find a brand new sports car for $500 either.

oh i just got their reply
Hi,

We are setting everything up on walden now. Here is what will happen:

1. Your account here will continue to work
2. We'll copy everything over to walden
3. You'll be able to login to walden and confirm that everything is
working as you would like
4. After everything is good, let us know and we\'ll switch the dns over
5. At this point, both the site on cobble and the site on walden are
live and some users (with the old dns) hit off cobble while new users hit
off walden.
6. In 24 hours or so, everyone will have new dns and will go to walden.
In any case the server will not be down any.

Also, the ram in cobble was tripled today so that should hopefully stop
the problem on cobble.

Best Regards,

Greg
