I have only recently begun to think about offer shoutcast hosting as one of our offered services. My question is how can I track bandwidth usage for each shoutcast client? We run redhat with cpanel on all machines. What is the easiest and best way to do so. I doubt each client will have a domain hosted with us so I don't think we can use WHM to monitor thier bandwidth usage. Is there a way to monitor bandwidth usage on a port by port basis ? Such as

PORT
8000 = XXX Gigs Used
8001
8002

Those being the ports the clients servers are broadcasting on.

Any help would be great!

Thanks !

Use different IPs for each client, then use bandmin (yourdomain.com/bandwidth/) to see how much bandwidth each IP used.

it wont monitor them without dedicated IPs

and yes cpanel/whm has built-in bandmin which can do the job for u

Bringing back an old thread -- is there any other way? To track usage by PORT? I don't have the available IPs.
