I am confused about how modernbill connects to these control panels.

from what I have seen modernbill manages all your accounts and billing. If this is true why do you need to connect to another cp?

I really like the fact that I will have one billing program for ALL my clients reguardless of what server/cp they are on. If you install modernbill what do you use the cp for?

MB able to activate a domain name with email & web hosting service at your server control panel. This integration allow you to provide instant activation of services for new orders.

Though upgrading and changing of services of existing customer could be tricky, thus I prefer to do it manually.

How MB "talk" to the CP? It is through a "wrapper" you install at your CP. It is a program that allow MB to activate services on your CP without human intervention.

MB is for processing of order and billing. Cp "control panel" is for server management using a web interface.
