I know all too well how that goes.. :o

Then when you leave it emails you and reminds you that you should be at WHT, and not doing whatever you are doing.

One of the nice little features with Konqueror is that I don't even have to have it load up "about:blank". It just opens the program with nothing. That way, the program opens as quickly as possible, and then I can tell it where I want to go.

It used to be set to display the stockquotes.

But during the last year or so that was a depressing first thing to see each morning when I woke up so now it is set to uo.stratics.com

My old university's website. I'd change it to Oxford's site, except that it really sucks.

Count me in for about: blank as well...

I hate having it set to anything else but a blank page....

And what are the advantages of that. I ask because my pags load fast anyway. Why have a blank page? Ofcourse I use cable.

Blank, because the majority of the time it's annoying having something there when you start opening multiple -new- windows and time is of the essence.

Edit: Oh, foroget to add, thee most annoying part is trying to stop the page from loading.

hehe, that's why I go for google. It's handy and loads like greased lightning. By the time I'm reaching for a bookmark it's usually up. It's main purpose it when I need to look for something, I just poke home and type in what I'm looking for.
