I just got a VDI server through Ultraspeed and am rather pleased with the automated features which come with it (and Daniel's personalised support of course)

However, I noticed the FTP daemon its using ProFTPd. While I have no issues with it, i do also have an NcFTPd license and would like to replace the former with it.

Anybody has experience performing this ftp daemon replacement ? Kindly share your knowledge :)

Pro FTP has always worked well, I dont know about the ftp prog your referring too.

I was wondering how can Ultraspeed offer lower prices than VDI? (especially for their special package)

I'm interested to have my own server on VDI NOC..
But since my grammar is not good - while on the other hand I live in Indonesia - I think it's very hard to have a personalized communication with a big company like VDI

So recently I will consider to buy VDI services through their resellers.

Yup, i'd agree with you on the "Daniel part". I currently have one VDI-based server with UltraspeedUSA and intend to add another 2 more by month's end due to the high level of personalised service given by Daniel.

Just wondering about this NcFTPd thingy - Yes I know that ProFTPd is good (if not better than NcFTPd), but I already have a license for NcFTPd and naturally won't want it to go to waste *smiles* :)
