Well...

Just to share with you my recent experience with DirectDomain.

I sent them an email to his support account regarding an issue with a domain name (help@directdomain.com) about 48 hours ago and haven't received a reply yet. Just have received an auto-reply one day after sending my original request... and it contained "FAQ's" only. :eek:

I would have thought that being "part" of Tucows (specially when Tucows always talk about their "premium support") I would have received a quick reply... but now I realize is not like that. :mad:

seems they concentrate on their reseller support more than end user support :D

They have phone support have you tried to contact them that way?

Yes, I knew it. ;)

I'm not within US, so the phone call is not worth what I would earn from that domain.

And the main fact remains: two days is too much to reply a simple email. Even GoDaddy and eNom reply faster... and DirectDomain pricing are certainly not low: $14.99 per domain/year. :mad:

48 hours isn't so long if there is a weekend involved.

yeah that sucks, ive got a few domains that would kill me if they where down for 2 days.

any chance youll keep us updated when they achaly do reply? i wanna see how long they take. :)

QBert: They replied already. Had to send them another email and finally replied. Everything's OK now.

Anyway, I would have expected a better level of service from them.

seems your first email was caught by their spam filters or so :)

these days we have to email the company/person from multiple emails just to make sure the email wasn't caught by spam filters :(
