Its very cheap, small company, and super easy to use for both you and the client. Has every feature I can think of. Two guys run it and support is generally same day. It also works on Windows and Linux which is a plus. runar 06-17-2004, 04:27 PM I did recommend OTRS today... see http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=285725 ChaosHosting 06-17-2004, 05:39 PM www.perldesk.com ant0 06-17-2004, 06:20 PM Originally posted by ChaosHosting www.perldesk.com Seconded... $50 well spent for a great product. jstanden 06-17-2004, 07:25 PM We use Cerberus http://www.cerberusweb.com. Hey Phil, Just a quick note for everyone: There are actually 5 (Jeff/Ben/Jerry/Trent/Darren) of us here on the team daily, and a few more if you count the part-timers getting involved with the project. Ben handles the C/Mime-parser development, and I manage the GUI/API/PHP. If you have a problem in one of those main areas, there's a good chance you'll end up with one of us founders every time. That mistakingly leads a lot of people to think two people are running the whole show. Thanks for the review! pciccone 06-17-2004, 07:30 PM Either way you and Ben rock. Least I could do is promote your software (was not aware you monitor WHT) :) brav0 06-17-2004, 10:27 PM I'm still using the free version of PerlDesk. It has 2,000 tickets in the database and runs effortlessly on a P III. jstanden 06-18-2004, 04:02 AM Originally posted by pciccone Either way you and Ben rock. Least I could do is promote your software (was not aware you monitor WHT) :) Thanks! Yeah, I've been stopping by WHT for a while -- from back in the pre-Cerberus webhosting days. Dark times! I noticed in your profile you have me beat me by a couple months. ;) tazd9t9 06-18-2004, 04:54 AM I'm currently playing about with the free version of cerberus (looks v nice) once i am used to it and decide its what i want i will be upgrading :) jstanden 06-18-2004, 05:56 AM Originally posted by tazd9t9 I'm currently playing about with the free version of cerberus (looks v nice) once i am used to it [...snip...] :) Feel free to PM/email me if you have any questions.
