Dec. 5, 2001 I was running a new pages mailing to my subscribers. All of the sudden the host shut down my site and is now displaying an unauthorized message when someone tries to access my site. I have been trying to communicate with them via supports tickets and they will not respond. I found one person who responded with this message "Your account has been suspended due to a terms of service violation(spamming)."

I wrote them and told them that I was not spamming.

I wanted to see this terms of service so I found one when you sign up for hosting service at the bottom of the signup form they say that you have to agree to the terms of service. So I clicked on the link and it gave me an email address so I could request the document. I wonder why it was not posted on the site. Why do people have to mail a request for a copy at the time they are signing up for hosting service. How many people will abandon everthing they already filled out on the sign up form to go and wait for the email containing the terms of service. What's up with that?

My site is still down and they are not communicating with me and I want my money back (if they billed me - billing time coming up) and I WANT MY DOMAIN so I can move elsewhere.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Please Help!

they probably dont have your domain
check a who is http:/www.samspade.org
and see who the registar is
you may need to find out your key or password
but if you are the admin on the domain should have no problem doing that

Thank you for your imput -- I appreciate it.

Yes, I own the domain according to the records -- however, the address and email info is not current. How would I go about reclaiming my domain? Who do I contact?

Depends on the register.

What one was used?

Thanks for the response venomx.

That's my question? I don't know -- otherwise I would contact them and work it out with them.

Do a whois on your domain through internic.net or nsiregistry.com and you'll see who your domain registrar is (and the url to their site).
