I was browsing on the GMail forums and I came upon this post, how is it possible that it shows as 0 posts?

That would look like posts not counting there.

Yeah, how is that possible though? I don't see that option in the control panel. Its most probably a bug no?

I think he means that posts in the GMail forum do not count. So simpson733 posted two messages there, but they do not count so it wasn't recorded.

Problem:
How it is possible to have 0 posts when you posted.
Hypothesis:
Posting in the gmail forum does not count:
Procedure:
I consulted my fellow rocket scientists and we decided that we should look at our post number, and then post in the gmail forum and then look at our post count afterwards.
Result:
My post number was the same afterwords
Conclusion:
Posting in the gmail forum does not add to your post number

If it showed a minus post count, I'd start worrying! :rofl:

That would be very scary!
It would be cool if people got to vote on people's posts.
If the post was worth posting you vote yes, if not no
If the average of the post is yes you get credit, if not it gets taken away!
Then you cant access ceratain areas unless your posts are above zero.

But then, wouldn't people always vote no on other's posts so they can have the highest post count?

If everyone was honest, that wouldn't be a bad mod.

Gmail fans should be glad they have their own section, and not worried about counting posts. :)

Post counts ARE DISABLED in that area.
