Hi, who can give me a good WHOIS script? I am currently using CDomain Pro, but it fails with .info and .biz domains...I need a scipt that can be configured to ask most whois servers.
I will very thankful, if somebody helps me.....

I see you had to pay $ 100.- for CDomainpro. If I were you I'ld contact them and ask if there is an update available for .info and .biz
Are you sure you cannot configure it yourself? Most whois scripts can easily be configured to included new TLDs

A real easy way to find whois info with PHP is to use the backtick operator that will output info from a shell command. Here (http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.operators.execution.php) is an explination for it in the PHP manual.

Yes, i sent a message to their support, they answered: there is no reliable whois server for .info and .biz, yet.

Hang on a second. My pants dropped to the floor...
Ok, take a look at <edited out. Just realized I'm not allowed to post links to my own site. pm me for the link>
Notice the non-existing .info and .biz whois
Acutally I just added them. It's a tool I no longer use, but after reading your message I just felt the urge to prove them wrong.
See if you can find the part (file) in your whois script that holds the whois locations.
For .biz add whois.biz
For .info add whois.afilias.net
I downloaded this script once from cgi-resources.com. The exact link is in my previous message. The script is very simple and very free. Also you can just add/remove TLD's by just editing a simple text file.

In the meantime am configuring the script myself to ask
whois.affilias.info 'bout .info domains. And I sent second request to support@cdomain.com

I use Geektools WHOIS proxy script. It's very good.
See the software link on the following page:
