Is the english football league in such a bad way they need to give the managers job to a swed?.

We have plenty of managers good enough that are english ..... Terry Venables .... Bobby Robson etc etc why a swed???.

And £3 million a year and £1 million if they get to the world cup. Now tell me he didnt take the job for just the money?.

I sympathise Eddie. I follow the Premier each week and I must say I'm extremely disappointed by some of the decisions they make.

Pull their finger out of their asses I say.

Btw, enjoying all this horrible storms and weather Eddie? :D

hahahaha the storms.

I'm not really affected by it. I'm on the side of a hill but if i need a swim i can take a big jump and land in a massive swimming pool.

My friends house got flooded though cos he's down the bottom of the valley.

It's strange how we can put a man on the moon make things appear on computer screens but some wind and water and the country is crippled.

BTW - which team do u follow BC ?.

Eddie, LOL!

When I'm next in England, you might find me rooting for certain teams at Anfield or Elland Road in no particular order (Anfield because I've been a long-time supporter of Liverpool, and Leeds because of Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell. Please excuse me while I indulge in some Aussie patriotism... :D)

Hey i live 10 Miles from Elland road.

Don't think Mark Viduka will be playing in Australlia's next international i'm going to kill him for scoring on sunday.

Been to Anfield and joined in the singing of "You'll Never Walk Alone". The atmosphere at anfield is electric when they sing that song.

Harry Kewell wont be at leeds long he'll leave in the new year for A.C Milan (i hope).

Eddie,

Muahahahahhahaahhahaha.

Boo hoo hoo. That's what he was signed for ;)

I dunno about Harry - there was a lot of brouhaha back here in Oz about him staying out of the Olympics with that Achilles. I totally sympathised, but some of the others wanted to drag him back here no matter what. It was pretty pissy.

And yeah, the atmosphere @ Anfield is one of the reasons why it's a 'must-do' on my list if I come to England - my friend (who actually follows Ar-bloody-senal) went to the Arsenal-Liverpool game a few seasons back and came back raving about it non-stop for about 4 months. I ended up having to 'sabotage' some of his valuable Ar-bloody-senal gear to shut him up :D

When visiting anfield make sure it's against one of the big teams.... It's not quite the same when u go watch liverpool Vs Derby or Southampton. I watched some highlights of the merseyside derby i wished id been there the atmosphere sounded awesome.

I would of recommended going to wembley too but you can't since it only consists of a metal fence and and some mud where the pitch was.

Hmmm... Curious to know : when will Wembley be opening back up? I heard it was gonna be another few years before we see it open again.... And a horrible budget blow-out's not helping either apparently.

Off to study my SQL Server 7 text... Back later :)

Man on the moon? When did this happen?

BC - Taking the SQL Exams? Which one?

inwks,

Nah, I'm just reading up on SQL Server 7 for fun (and for future reference if I need it for work). I might take the exam in the next 12-18 months depending on whether I can be bothered. Unfortunately, taking MCSE exams to get the qualification doesn't really guarantee anything over here :/ so I might just as well save myself the $12,000 and focus on the CIW or just brush up on other DBs instead....

Strange idea of fun :)

I was just going to say that the SQL Admin is hard, the Developer one is easier, so if you were going for one, take the dev one.

Hehehhehe Wellllllll Not really fun ;) More just for *future knowledge* and getting an edge ahead of others :)

Yeah, I was thinking of doing the Dev exam, not the admin one, as I have heard that argument.. But I very much doubt I'll put up the necessary money to complete the exam....
