Well here is what i am looking for. I am going to be creating a website for a local band. All i need is a simple web hosting service, that I can put some pictures on, maybe some songs, and info on all the band members and such. Not looking for anything complicated cuz i am kinda new to this myself. Any suggestions wouls be great!!!! Possibly a place that aids with the development of the page.

well i guess a budget of maybe 50 a month. Not to sure just looking around for pricing etc. Just want to make it look proffesional, like I said with a couple of songs on the site for people to listen to maybe. Thanks again.

pop emails means you@yourdomain.com email addresses that you can use to send/receive email from using normal mailprograms like outlook (express) and eurdora.

12 GB transfer means you don't have to worry about running out :)

Each time someone access your site, the data is pulled from the server and displayed on the visitors screen. For instance if you have a 10 kb picture on your site, then each time someone visits your site, you have 10 kb datatransfer.

Your webhost has to pay for the datatransfer, so they put a limit on it. If you go over...you pay extra. (or they shut your site down, depending on your host)

Looking at what you want to do with your site though, I think 1 GB would do just fine.

A webcontrol panel is just an easy way to control it all. Make new email addresses, set auto replies etc. Most webhosts offer something like that.
