I've just heard that a "certain" resellers Xmas message contained a note to the effect that FTP and Control Panel access would be shut for 5 days in total over Xmas and the New Year.

I was just wondering if this sounds as ridiculous to you as it does to me?

I guess he skipped the bit in the manual that says we're all open, all the time (just like 7-11) :D

Unfortunately the "he" in question is actually a full on company who got thoroughly fed up with and subsequently left, quite a few months back.
