Does anyone have any experience or use VIA processors ? I just bought one laptop-like desktop today at a computer fair, quite worth it. VIA C3 1 gig , 256 MB ram, 10 GB hd , 14.1 TFT XGA screen, internal modem, 10/100 NIC .......around US 600. It looks no different than a laptop.........but it has fewer ports, and no floppy. What do you guys think of it ?

i have not used 1ghz but i used via proccessors and they are cool and cheap. also previously it was cyrix company making proccesors not aquired by via.
